St Heliers Youth and Young Adults

YADS – Do you know YADS stands for Young Adult Sunday?  And every Sunday there is a small meal and discussion between 6-7pm and then worship and a speaker between 7-8pm.  People of any age are welcome to worship.

YAdS is a group organized by, run by members of the group, with guidance from Reverend Pauline Stewart, and Youth  Leaders - Vikas Velugu and Fran Sawtell.
We will meet every Sunday at the church from 6-8pm. Between 6-7pm there will be a simple but filling meal available for a small donation, and this will be time for games, discussion etc and generally enjoying the company of others. At 7pm we will begin our time of youth oriented worship, led by members of the group.
The programme will nurture our Young Peoples’ Christian faith and leadership.

Guest speakers, music, projects, outings and a wide variety of other activities will ensure that these will be evenings our young people will enjoy and will want to bring their friends to.

We invite anyone 15 years up to come and join us – come with an expectation to enjoy a great evening with some truly great young people.
Remember – a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet – so don’t be afraid to come alone!
