SUNDAY AT ST HELIERS CHURCH
9.00am Community Church
An informal service, especially inclusive and welcoming of children, teens and families. Lots of great music with a different band or singing group each week. First half hour includes children’s story, simple rituals with children and young people participating. There is an inspirational, informal style sermon for the adults. Morning tea follows the service. The children leave for their program after 20 minutes of Community Church.

SUNDAY MORNING A KIDS FRIENDLY TIME-CALLED GODZONE
We have four levels of Christian education offered as part of Sunday
Morning. At 9.30am JIGGLERS (pre-school programme). ROCKERS – years 1,2,&3 / EXPLORERS – years 4 &5 / TEEN TEAM – 6,7&8
COLLEGE age youth have a Sunday night programme and assist on Sunday mornings with teaching children, attending worship and helping in music and puppet teams.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR– for children ages 5 – 9 in Godzone each Sunday morning at 9.00am during term.
10.30am CHURCH
A more formal worship, and emphasis on preaching and involvement of choir. Children have activity packs and there is always a children’s story. Morning tea is before the service joining the people who have attended the 9.00am service.
COMMUNION
2nd Sunday of every month and 8.00 on the last Sunday of the month - Family communion is very important in our life at St Heliers and this is part of both worship services on the second Sunday of every month. Children are welcome to take communion as long as their parents agree and we have lessons on the meaning of Communion as part of their Sunday morning Christian Education.
The Monthly Early Morning Communion Service is informal & contemplative.
