Learning the Bible and making friends of the same age and older ages is important, as is having fun. We love GODZONE and so will you.
BAPTISMS: We practice baptism of babies, children and adults. The Baptism is part of the morning worship services - 9am or 10.30am and involves the sprinkling of water and promises by the parents and the congregation. However, if someone requests Baptism by immersion then this can be done at a beach or lake or pool. The church does not do private Baptisms. Preparation sessions are offered by the Minister. The families are encouraged to belong to the faith community, but it is not a requirement of Baptism. Each personreceives a Bibleat this important occasion.
BLESSINGS: The naming or blessing of a child is offered and this can be done at home. We also assist people with house blessings. ALL ENQUIRIES TO THE MINISTER OR CHRISTEL – Minister’s Personal Assistant.
TEA PARTY CHURCH
This is an experience of church for families with pre-schoolers and early primary. It is based around a tea party atmosphere with china cups and saucers for the children. The food is the evening meal for the children. Adults have coffee and snacks. There is a Bible story for everyone, simple games, singing and a community prayer.
