IMMIGRANT, FRIENDSHIP AND SUPPORT GROUP

New settlers of any origin; those coming to live temporarily, and for people who speak another language.  This programme will improve English conversation, confidence in social situations,  knowledge of New Zealand life, food, sports, social practises and celebrations.  You will make new friends. Led by a team of adults coordinated by Heekyung Jung.  Includes morning tea.

In 2010 we are working to become the Eastern Bays Centre for Auckland Regional Migrant Services.

                     It’s not always easy to find the information you need about employment, education, health services and many other aspects of living in New Zealand.  The biggest challenge is knowing where to find this information.  Settlement Support New Zealand provides easy access to information you’ll need to know when settling in your community.  Settlement Support is a free service available to all new residents.
